Annual Picnic

The American Legion Post 224 will have their Annual Picnic on Thursday, July 17, 2025. The joint party is for both the Legion & Auxiliary members. Social Hour start at 4:00pm. Dinner is to be served starting at 6:00pm. This year we have decided to go with a Potluck variety of meal for all to share. You are welcome to bring your favorite dish but as a suggestion so we do not all bring salads, I would like to recommend the following.

Last name begins with A-J, main course dish
Last name begins with K-Q, salad
Last name begins with R-Z, ide dish & desert

This will assure a variety of delicious dishes to share. And of course, if you have your favorite already planned, please feel free to vary. We will have a short executive meeting prior to the picnic beginning promptly at 5:30pm There will be a few items on the agenda including an update on the new air conditioning system and costs from John Hadley. Lee Bailey will also have some security suggestions for us to consider.
